What we collect

• Email address, from Stripe’s checkout, to identify your membership and send sign-in codes.
• Membership status from Stripe: customer and subscription identifiers and whether the subscription is active.
• If you turn on alerts: the notification address and encryption keys your browser creates for this site, your browser’s user-agent string, and your quiet-hours setting.
• Sign-in data: a one-time code, stored only as a hash and deleted after 15 minutes or first use, and a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in on that device for up to 90 days.
• Security logs: our hosting provider processes IP addresses to deliver the site and to limit abuse.

We never receive or store card or bank details. Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe’s own privacy policy.

What we use it for

To deliver alerts to members, manage memberships and billing, prevent fraud and abuse, answer your questions, and keep the records the law requires. We do not use advertising, tracking cookies or analytics, and we do not sell or share your data for marketing.

Who processes it for us

• Stripe: payments and subscription management.
• Cloudflare: hosting and the member database.
• Resend: delivery of sign-in code emails.
• Your browser’s push service (Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft): delivers alerts. Alerts are encrypted so the push service cannot read them.

How long we keep it

Membership records are kept while you are a member and afterwards only as long as needed for accounting, tax and dispute records. Alert devices and sign-ins are deleted as soon as a membership ends, is refunded or is disputed. You can remove a device at any time from the alerts page.

Your choices

You can turn off alerts on any device, sign out, or cancel your subscription from the link in your Stripe receipt. To request a copy or deletion of your data, email contact@syscerno.com from the address you subscribed with.

Age

The service is for adults 18 and over.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above will change. Material changes will be emailed to members.
